Boots - Zamberlain 307 Trail Lite
After 1,000kms on the Track and 600kms in training, the soles are still good for another 1,000kms. Non-flexible boot sole takes a while to get used to, but it really supports your foot and ankle. Excellent boot, if you wear them in first. Few blisters!

Backpack MEC Pangea 75 Travel Pack
Other than replacing the lightweight rain pack cover that was built in, with a more sturdy heavy duty one, this 75 litre pack was good. I did take some chunks of neoprene wet suit material, to use when I got chaffed a bit carrying 28kgs! |
ascent 500 sleeping bag
Sleeping bag (went down to -5C but was too hot, except for two cold nights - with silk liner as well). Suggest getting a full length zip, rather than the lighter shorter zip bag.

Very happy with this quick drying lightweight shirt, and the same brand pants.

Gaiters - the snake protectors
You feel almost built-proof to snake bites below the knees! |

Waterproof very windproof Lowie Alpine Deluge Jacket.

Lightweight UVF multipurpose trouser/shorts. Prickly bushes and mossies meant I hardly ever unzipped the leggings. |
Lightweight UVF long sleeved shirt. |
Fleece waistcoat - warm jacket. |
